Pulmonary medicine caters to quality management of respiratory diseases particularly Asthma, COPD, Tuberculosis and Post TB sequelae, Nasal allergies, COVID and Post Covid illness, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial lung diseases (ILD), infections of lung and pleura, lung cancer, sleep related breathing disorders, occupational lung diseases, involvement of respiratory system by systemic diseases like vasculitis, sarcoidosis, heart failure, renal failure etc. Pulmonary medicine is also updated in managing the patients of chronic respiratory illness who require long term oxygen therapy (LTOT), domiciliary oxygen, home NIV (CPAPBiPAP) and home nebulisation therapy.

The aim of the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at ManglamPlus Medicity is to provide innovative, cost-efficient, and advanced respiratory care for patients of all age groups. Also, there are special clinics where tests for COPD, Asthma, sleep and ILD can be performed.
