The Department of Sonography at ManglamPlus Medicity comprise of excellent sonographers who have quality communication and critical thinking skills. As diagnostic ultrasound is a progressive medical science this is the reason why sonographers of the hospital maintain and enhance their knowledge and expertise through participation in different medical educational sessions. Sonographers work in close coordination with radiologists, cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and other physicians of the hospital so as to plan an appropriate diagnosis for the patient.

Sonography is a non-invasive medical imaging technology that makes use of high-frequency sound waves to form an image of body tissues. Information obtained from these images can be utilized to detect the problem in the organ and along with other patient data can be used to arrive at a medical diagnosis.
